Gottfried Helnwein est autrichien, il aura travaillé avec Manson(the golden age of grotesque), Ramstein ou encore Michael Jackson sur les visuels de leurs albums.

Sehr interessanter Künstler, dieser Gottfried Helnwein. Sowohl der Hintergrund seiner Bilder, als auch seine Technik. Die Basis vieler seiner Bilder bieten Fotografien die mit Öl-/Mischtechniken "bearbeitet" werden. Die fertigen Bilder sehen beim normalen Betrachten aus, als handelt es sich um originale großformatige Fotografien. Nur bei genauem Hinsehen sieht man Spuren von Ölfarben. Licht und Schatten sind perfekt gesetzt. Und jedes Bild hat eine Aussage - auch wenn man sie nicht immer auf den ersten Blick erkennt. Aber genau das macht den Reiz aus! ...
