The young viennese-born artist Mercedes Helnwein will be featured at the exhibition
A TRUE STORY
at the Boutique WhiteTrashCharms, 1951 Hillhurst Ave, Los Feliz CA 90027, opening tomorrow, February 17th.
The show will combine drawings by Mercedes Helnwein (www.mercedeshelnwein.com) and photography by Los Feliz native Alex Prager (www.alexprager.com)
Mercedes Helnwein , born in Vienna 1979 lives presently between Los Angeles and Ireland. She has worked both as a writer and fine artist and has been exhibiting in Los Angeles regularly since 2003.

Mercedes Helnwein has worked together with photographer Alex Prager on numerous projects - ranging from magazine stories (Helnwein's drawings and Prager's photography have just appeared in the Dec/Jan issue of FLAUNT magazine) as well as fine art exhibitions and writing/photography projects. Recently, Mercedes Helnwein started a company together with her brother Ali Helnwein - STRAYED DOGS - which is dedicated to producing art in the forms of visual art as well as music and literature.
