I found Gottfried Helnwein
where are the Asian punk boys?
Oh my god I'm so excited, I found this artist with whose works I am quickly falling in love. (Correct grammar? Yes? No?) His name is Gottfried Helnwein, I was not aware of his existence until my adventure to a second-hand bookstore tonight. He is ingenius, I love how dark and grotesque his works are, through the use of child models. SURREALISM. Words cannot express my feelings right now!
Eine Träne auf Reisen

If you are hypnotized by his works, or just interested by his Nazi references, go to his website to look at more paintings. He also does photography, installations, and theatre. I saw pictures of his rendition of Macbeth and I'm really dying to see it!He's having a one man show in San Francisco in April, I'm so going.(Post a new comment)zombie_hero2006-03-21 12:08 pm UTC (link)o_O.....that second one reminds me of donnie darko.
